Nokia PC Suite is a package of Windows-based PC applications developed especially for use with Nokia phones. Depending on your phone model, it lets you synchronize, edit, and back up many of your phone’s files on a compatible PC through a wireless or cable connection.

Depending on your phone model, you can use PC Suite to:

• Back up and restore phone files
• Transfer information, pictures, and music from phone to phone, phone to PC, or PC to phone
• Synchronize your phone and PC calendars
• Edit contacts, pictures, and phone file names
• Install Java(TM)-based applications in your phone
• Convert ringing tone formats
• Play multimedia messages and videos
• Connect by using your phone as a modem

Using PC Suite with screen readers

1. Disable the autorun when PC Suite is loaded. (You can't use JAWS or a screen reader with autorun on any of the devices.)
2. To disable the autorun, press and hold the shift key while the CD is being recognized. 3. Then choose "manually install" PC Suite with help from JAWS.
3. When PC Suite finishes installing, connect the phone to the PC, go to Explorer, and find the third-party text-to-speech software installer.
4. Install the text-to-speech application.
